My sims won't pee on the bushes!

Ok, so I thought it was by design that my sim lost the ability to pee on bushes when he became an Elder. But his son, who is a teenager with 0 Neat, can't pee on bushes either. How come?

So I'm asking, no, begging - does anyone know of a hack conflict or a broken bit of Maxian code that would make the sloppiest sims completely unable to pee on bushes on their home lot? It's not that I've placed all the bushes back to front or anything like that, is it? I can't remember if this only started after they moved house (from one lot to another) - I think it might be, although I could swear I've replaced the bushes at least once since they moved because I wondered if the bushes themselves were bugged... They're default Maxis bushes, too.

Well, you're there too, but in the chat it's said you have to have 10 outgoing to pee on bushes.  0 neat to pee in the shower.

Doh. So this would be a Stupid Baratron Problem, then?

Still curious about Extremely Tormented (my Ethiopian founder), though. He has 10 Outgoing, yet can't pee on bushes since he became Elder. I've tried all of the Maxis bushes plus the money tree, and despite being on red Bladder, he won't water the bushes. He just pees himself if I can't get him in the car & Downtown to a toilet fast enough. Bah.
