Really? Now, that would be an option I would use. Would anyone be so kind as to post instructions and/or a link to a tutorial when they erase memories? Would you use this to get rid of townies?

If you get the QA version of SimPE, there is an tool that deletes a sim entirely (including memories about them). However, there is a slight snag with it which mucks up genetics - recessive stuff no longer gets passed on. Which is why it's only in the QA version. But for people like me who hate children and so rarely have them in game, it's useful.

Speaking of SimPE, does anyone know the progress of TorklePE? I'm really starting to miss the old interface, the Classic Mode is just terrible in the new versions.
How about Family Fun Pack recognition in .58?

I *think* Torkle abandoned the project.

has anyone managed to use the memory functions with the new simpe yet? I was quite successfully using the 'fix memories' button in the old 0.54 version but when I downloaded this new one i can't seem to even find the button anymore. I think i'm a bit lost, so if anyone has used the 'fix memories' tool with this version could they tell me if I'm supposed to have done something special to make it work again. thankyou

The automatic "fix memory" option as it was in the plugin is not supported, I believe. Edit: Right, no auto fixing for memories: The new plug-in in SimPE, while providing more features than the old default, is still more limited than Theo's. It can't autofix for example.

Torkle attempted to abandon it, but Pescado is trying to convince me otherwise. We'll see who wins.

D'oh! I really should have checked this out before moving a family in from a new neighbourhood. Exactly how bad will it get if I just plonk them in the neighbiourhood anyway, despite the fact that most of their memories are 'met subject' etc?

Hehe, can't wait to see TorklePE then. (As we all know Pescado can be pretty persuasive, even if it is for evil sometimes).
