Request : University Clothing for adults

Does anyone know where I could get a file similar to Motoki's Clothing equality mod that enables the young adult clothing (Not the ones that were added in Nightlife) for adults? Thanks in advance, Daniel.

You mean the Maxis stuff - not custom content?  Custom content is easily changed with SimPE.

You can actually do it with datgen. It has an automatic skin fixer plugin and one of the options is make YA clothing for A/YA. If you want it to do the Maxis University stuff you need to have it scan the skins.package file from University and then run the skin fixer on it. The file should be in the path C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 University\TSData\Res\Catalog\Skins\Skins.package so have the skin fixer browse to that directory.

Since you'll actually be messing with game files and not something in the downloads directory, make a backup of the file first. Also, it will take a while for it to scan and fix all the files, but I've done it before and it does work.

Oh of course, Motoki - I'd forgotten all about that.  Last time I really used DatGen was for hairs.  It's a shame work stopped on that mod - I found it really easy to use.

I agree. I was sorry to see work stop on it as it does do some things that SimPE doesn't. In this case, as you pointed out you can modify an outfit in SimPE to show up for different age groups, but as far as I know, SimPE doesn't have an easy way to update a large mass quantity of outfits whereas Datgen just you run the skinfixer on it and wait, heh.

I'm doing it again myself now. I'll upload the file when I'm done. It just takes forever and a day to do. It literally takes hours. File should be around 2 MB but I might be able to get is smaller if I rar it.

I seem to remember NL enabling a lot of the YA only clothes for Adults.  I could be imagining things though...

It does for a number of the outfits, I just don't think it enabled ALL of them. At least I don't think it did.

It did, but not the entire collection. I would offer my own copy, but I didn't include the entire collection either . I did update the elder clothing hide though, to hide whichever elder outfit that has an adult version, I could post it here if anyone's interested.
