Can't Get AuthorizedPersonnelOnly to Keep Sims Out

I'm sorry if this is the stupidest question you've ever heard, but I've tried everything and I can't get my Sims to stay out of rooms that I don't want them in using AuthorizedPersonnelOnly. I've made sure the doors are locked, made sure the Sims in question are set to deny, etc. Is there are a trick? I searched but didn't find anything. If you could point me in the right direction, I'd be VERY grateful. Thank you!

Are you using standard Maxian doors, not special-doors of any kind, and not arches, dorm doors, or non-standard custom doors?

Yep, I tried it with both kinds, actually, Maxis and custom.  (And wow! *The* J.M. Pescado replied to my post! I feel so special!)

There's some things that Pescado makes that doesn't work for me such as the Bathroom Uses You or Power Idle.  APO is one that I think doesn't work all that well, since it won't keep repomen out.  I might have been doing something wrong with that though.

I believe the Repo Man was classified as an Untouchable since he can go through walls. 

What sort of problems are you having with the bathroom controller?  As JM stated above, are you using any non-Maxian doors, etc.?  Do you have diagonal doors or walls?
