Is it possible to make robots into townies?

I haven't tried it but in theory I don't see what not. I've made vamps and zombies into townies. I can't think of any reason why a robot couldn't be one.

They're just ordinary characters really, so I can't see any reason why they can't be townies, either.  Mine is currently making himself a wife, then they'll be leaving to buy their own place and start their own bot-making business.
