You could already do that with Pescado's clothing too.

Now I wish there was a way to give the damned things a paint job easily. I can do the recolors but the damned face keeps showing up, the human one, like some creepy mask.

It's still useful to have the Servo clothing hack, because you can't change to anything but "formal" or "everyday" without it, even though Pescado's clothing tool lets you purchase other clothing.  A revised Servo with a robot-type skin looks more robotic wearing just a pair of white briefs.
