EA Beta testers are a myth. EA Games' beta testers are their customers, who are responsible for finding and eliminating any bugs the developers a) did not find, b) consider features, c) left in because EA Games demanded an unreasonable shipping date and did not leave the developers any time to debug (or eat, or sleep). Once the developers are deinstitutionalized, dehospitalized, declared sane, or replaced development of the first of many bugfixes starts unless development time is needed for the first of many expansions or sequels.

I have no problem with more than two storeys.  A lot depends on the number of sims in your house and the size of the lot, and therefore how large the house area is likely to be.  The house I've just built has a swimmingpool on the ground floor, next to the garage, then living room/kitchen, two bathrooms and the adults bedroom above, then Uncle Pops and the kids have rooms and a bathroom on the floor above.  Work fine.
