Columns help please

Does any of you brilliant people know how columns change their size? This is not a meshing problem, I think.
I have Luna's columns, which appear fine in my game at size 1. But at size 2 and 3 they simply revert back to the original size 1 base.
Luna is long gone, and while I can open them up in Sims3PE, I cannot see any place to alter columns, any flag or anything.
If it's possible I would love to fix them, at least make ONE of them usable at the taller sizes.
I know I can expect no help from Jezzer but maybe someone here knows something?
