Disappearing Cars from Inventory

I was wondering if this site has put out a fix for this problem of cars disappearing from active households??????  It also happened to me 4 times when playing a University lot.  The last post I saw about this was in 2011, so I'm revisiting the topic.  Any help would be deeply appreciated!!!!!!   8)
