I had a desire for colour, lots of colour.  

This is a house which is influenced by the rich colours of Spain. I used this site to create the scheme.


And let me assure you, I used ALL THE COLOURS. If you are the sort of person who likes beige with a splash of accent colour, I advise you to leave

now.

So, it's a two bedroom, two bathroom bungalow. §66,347 furnished, §33,925 unfurnished. 30x20 lot.

This house comes out at you. It is like reading a childrens story where the imps are constantly showing up in odd places; you are surprised by the detail wherever you look. I could never play with colours and make it look as good as this! The entryway is pretty, the little tv- and desknook is well put together and the colouring is unified throughout the house. Great work, witch!

That is nice.  I like what you did with the interior.  You can tell you put a lot of time into it.

I reckon something like this takes me 30-40 hours. I look for something that inspires an idea on the internet, then I search on floor plans, colour scheme and decor. Then comes the shell, getting proportions and light right, with a runway for the sims so they don't get stuck routing so much. Finally I decorate more-or-less room by room. Light adjustments and gardens come last.

I have spent two evenings so far on a new house, which is ALMOST COMPLETELY UNLIKE this house in every way.
