Well TBH I did notice that my sim used a vacation day early monday morning having had sunday night off, but thought it was probably because I was using a custom career.  Redownloaded, I'll try it again Wink

Wonderful!  Now my hubby-sim can finally become a mad scientist (he's already one in RL, but I was holding off on getting his sim-self promoted because of this darned bug!)!  Grin

Does he have a metal hand and everything? (sorry, couldn't resist)

I have several knowledge sims who want to be Mad Scientists.  This will invaluable.  One of them is alsmost there and has no vacation days, I'd hate for his job performance to take a hit because of Maxi glitchiness.

I'm having problems with sims missing work on other days where they work nights. For example one of my sims who is a Broadway Star had thursday off and had to work friday evening, but Friday morning came around and he was told he'd missed a days work and lost job performance.

Could this fix be modified to work on other days?

Is this with the current version? That was a bug in the old version.

Sometimes my kids miss school on Monday too.  I hope this fixes it.  thanks  Kiss

I've been having some problems with the medical career (early level), it wasn't on Monday though. The job started a 8 pm I think, ended at 2 am, but when it turned 12 am, it would count against her if she was supposed to work later that day.

It still does it even with this file.

Yeah, I have noticed this for several jobs, if the job starts and ends on different days.  It is only an issue on the first day back to work after time off.

I don't currently have the Monday fix installed, but I have noticed that when it is installed I still see the problem.

I'm experiencing the same issues with the Medical Career as Argon. One of my sims was a Paramedic and when it turned 12am of the day he was supposed to work he'd get the pop up about missing work. He was supposed to go to work later that evening, at 8pm and work until 2am the following morning. It's just like the problems I used to have way back in Sims1 with night jobs before they patched it. It still does this even with the current Monday fix installed.

I'll try reinstalling the current Monday fix again to see if it will take. I don't know if my problem was because this was a sim who was a Paramedic before I installed the fix or not. I'll test a couple of sims and let you know.

edit-I tested it on a new sim, same Paramedic job. What's strange is that if he's scheduled to work Sat 8pm to Sun 2am the option "drive to work" will appear in the menu when you click on the car after Sat 12am. But I'm now not getting the message of, "So and So's missed work, don't make a habit of it" and there's no hit to the job performance. So except for the weird "drive to work" option being available at the wrong time the problem seems to be fixed now.

The Drive To Work issue is caused by the car, not the job. You could try driving to work then and seeing what happens. Tongue

I'm too curious for my own good so I did try the "drive to work" to see what would happen with another sim. I got the message of "Mitch is late to work today, dont make a habit of it, etc." but when Mitch came home he still was promoted to the next level of Nurse because he had the required skills and friends level. Just more proof that the game is possessed.
