For our next challenge!

Meet the Shrooms! The Shroom family need a new house, and it is up to you to build it!

Rules:

• All EPs/SPs welcome
  
• All store content welcome
• CC allowed - must list source or make available for downloaders
  
• Lot should be between 20 x 20 and 40 x 40 in size. It can be any configuration within those limits

Lots should have:

• One Shroomlet bedroom [favourite colour: red, dinosaurs are a bonus]
• One master bedroom
• One office
• One workshop with sculpture station

Use of purple is encouraged, but not essential. There is no limit to the number of bedrooms, but there must be at least 2.

You can design for any pets you would like to include on the lot. The Shroom family has adopted every stray that has wandered past, and has 2 dogs, a cat and a lizard so far. There are no points lost for not having pet items in the house though.

Skadi, are there any price limits? I was inspired by this one, but my house is currently a little large and a lot expensive, and it's not even finished yet. I don't know whether to hope for constraints or not.

The only constraint is the size of the lot and minimum room requirements. Other than that, go crazy. It can be any style, any price, it can be a beach lot, anything.
The last thread gave us some brilliant starter/small houses, this month should be the next step up.

This house's exterior is based on Stu Macher's house from Scream. As seen here. This would have been better during witch's challenge, but meh.

The interior is VERY loosely based on the film. The kitchen is in the back of the house. There's a fridge in the garage. There are stairs. The TV is off to the left. That's really about all the similarities.

It's on a 30x30 lot.
Costs 134,000 furnished.
Three bedroom, three bathrooms.
Second story contains master bathroom and master bedroom. The rest of the floor is left blank for decorating/expanding as the family expands. (Read: I ran out of creativity.)

I'm sorry I haven't been participating lately, I always mean to but what with work, a reinstall of my PC that does not include sims 3 so far and the fact that I have been teleported to Neverwinter Nights online, means that there has been no opportunity to build recently. I still follow the threads with interest and vote.

Papadochia luxury yacht

The houseboat is expensive like Onassis yacht… but it worth, because is big and can be occupied by a big family or by many guests. Think about what party you can hold on the terrace….
It is huge. It has 3 floors, has 2 master bedrooms, 1 children/teen rooms, a nursery 3 full bath+ 1 „two in one" bath. It also has a terrace for barbecue and entertainment. It's very expensive, but it has almost all the facilities.
The houseboat is modern and is ready for launch on the water.

I do have all of the store stuff and all expansions and most
stuff packs plus I did use some extra CC, listed here just in
case it does not travel: (study) Simply Styling, painting,
flower double 01; (child's bed) Pink Rabbit, painting, square
dino painting; (master and living) One Billion Pixels, candles
and holders, (that's the name on the site, candles and
holders).

Ok, so I went with an eclectic colour scheme (my son has
dubbed it ass kissing - lots of purple, since I have decorator
ADD and needed to focus on something), and Skadi, do you know
how hard it is to find dino stuff!? Yeesh! But, since purple
and dinos are included, do I get extra points? lol

Woo, I love the purple, and the dinosaur pattern! I think Generations came with a great big T-Rex head that ends up in Shroomlet's bedroom.
