Downtown residents without "electronic trio"?

I bought for Sim-Sandilou the House of Fallen Trees.

The first thing, I took her to a community lot to but the "electronic trio" (cell phone, MP3, handheld).

Returned home, and discoverred that none of them is in her inventory.

Again to the community lot, bought again, but now I checked after the buy. Again they are missing from her directory.

Not that I care much - any suggestions?

Wow, no, I haven't a clue why that could have happened, but I tend to stay away from the electronics. The only thing mine are allowed (sparingly) is the cell-phone.

If you're up for a little experiment, try TJ's college adjuster and give the sim the electronics that way. If they don't show up in the inventory then, I'm at a loss.

I just give mine what they want with boolProp, then roll the want manually so they get the points.  I never give them the handhelds anymore because of the problems they cause and anyway, they drive me mad with them.  I just roll the want to get rid of it whenever it appears - after a while they stop asking for it.

It has been now in all my neighbourhoods.

It all went good, until I downloaded the "mondayfix".

I wanted to test it, so I reinstalled the game, enterred a house, took a sim to the community, where he bought the "trio". I checked again - no trio.

Did "mondayfix" override something?  But now, even after reinstalling the game - my sims lack the trio in their directory.

I don't care, I hate the trio - the objects cause schisophrenia. But it's very weird.

Found the "culprit"!

Even after deleting the phone hack, and the monay fix - the bug continued to exist.

Now I rememberred that I put the "moveinall" hack a day before the "mondayhack", and forgot about it.

Deleted it, and all came back to function normally.

Phew....

Which moveinall do you have, gali?  I have the moveinall_nofriends_EP2  from MTS2, and haven't had any problems with it.  But it's be nice to know if there's some kind of conflict before I put the Monday fix into my game (don't need it yet, though!)

I used "moveinalluni" - no MTS2 note to it.

But I remember that I had a lot of problems with Uni, at the college, with this hack - I couldn't order my sims to "do assignment".

So, you can test it twice - once to enter the college and see if you can "do assignment", and the second test - buy the electronic trio.

It ruined all my game - I just put Sandilou and Ness in the game - gone after the reinstall.... Oh, well, I'll add them later.

Well, try the one I have, Gali, I don't have any problems with it at all!  and you don't have to get your sims to a high level of friendship first!
