Basic Principles,
No sim wakes up saying, "God, I hope I don't get swept off my feet today." Now, a sim
might say, "This is a really bad time for me," or something like, "I just need some space,"
or my personal favorite, "I'm really into my career right now." Do you believe that? I do.
When a sim tells you no they really do mean no. Trust me, they use simple equations to
determine responses based on a given relationship score. This is where I come in. My job is
open your eyes.
Basic Principles,
No matter what, no matter when, no matter who, any sim has a chance to sweep any other sim
off their feet. They just need the right broom.
Hedge - The Date Doctor
------------------
This mod will prevent any SELECTABLE sim from botching up any hug, flirt, or kiss. If you try
to do something that will end in certain failure Hedge will gladly step in and stop you.
You will also be protected from messing up an Ask on Date -and- Come back to my place/Need a
ride home interaction.

I admit I am not very happy with the way I have implemented the hack, but from all my testing everything works ok. I am planning not using overrides in the next version.

DD works by dropping an interaction out of your que if it will fail. A notification dialog is also displayed in the upper right hand corner of the screen letting you know not to use that interaction right now.

This was hilarious. I tried to get Herb (who is an adult again) to caress Nina, but apparently the Date Doctor didn't think it was a good idea. I'd almost forgotten I had installed this mod the other day, so I got a bit of a surprise when the notification below popped up!  |

Um, have you not noticed how every single one of the "post number titles" that you get here are insulting? Pescado greets people by kicking them, and if he really likes someone, he'll come up with a special insult just for that person. This is nothing . |
