Uni Life:

The roommates feature is pretty cool. Until they all stand in your bedroom listening to some twat play guitar.

Bonfires are cool. You can throw a test tube in, it produced fireworks.

Kegstands.

You get Dare opportunities, including "Kiss a random sim". There is now an option to "kiss in the heat of the moment" which is available as soon as you've been introduced. This one left the sim with a "being creepy" social tone.

I like the text messaging option on the phones.

Not a bad expansion so far. I am waiting to see what is borked though.

Edited to add:
Didn't take long for a bork. Queue to the classroom door, took 30+ sim minutes to get it.

Starler:
Too bad Bluto wasn't at your frat party.

Shivani:
The roommates do at least seem to have better AI than Sims 2, but I was annoyed during the term I had a sim at Uni and friends started sharing a double bed with her until I moved the other bed in the room to another and locked the door.  Or basically roomies playing a shuffle game when it came to which bed they slept in.  It seems as though setting a bed owner means little, though perhaps we're supposed to assign every bed available.

I also noticed that whenever your sim isn't actively studying or attending class the performance meter decays (or at least it does for me).  It's probably intentional, though some of the flavor text makes it seem that you wouldn't suffer this so long as you actually attended every scheduled class.

I've noticed that too, but the decay is very slight compared to the boost you get from going to class, lectures, using your skill object, etc.  Have you noticed if the decay happens at night too, or only during active school hours?

Nienor:
It's happening at night in my game.

Also, there appears to be no mechanism for dealing with broken/dirty appliances in dorms other than having the player's Sim fix them. By the time it bothered me enough to start on a round of cleaning and repairing, every single bathroom or electronic item was either broken or dirty. While I've never lived in student accommodations (and ours here are organised differently from US-style ones), I know that the dirt bit might be realistic. But I think that once the last toilet is clogged and all TV's and stereos are out, someone should notice.
