How to make Sims living together keep a bad relationship?

I thought Bad Mouth only affected the relationship of the person being talked to and the person being talked about? At least that's how it's explained in the Prima guide.

I think that's probably the case, but it only becomes available when a sim has a negative relationship with someone, as far as I remember - they have to have someone to "Bad Mouth" before they can do it.

Oh, okay, I see what you mean. I thought you were saying it could lower the relationship of the two people talking, which doesn't make much sense unless the person listening doesn't like to hear it. Heh. Been a long week

Well, I suppose it wouldn't make much sense to Bad Mouth a sim to their loving parent!
