TS3 Patch 1.33

Has anyone uploaded the SHT collections folder separately somewhere? I don't feel like reinstalling just for the missing SHT collection. The only issue i have with the 1.33 patch is this.

There's still no 1.32-1.33 incremental? Ugh, I'd really prefer not to download a 1GB superpatcher just so that I can update Awesomemod. EA can eat a bag of dicks.

Updating that way is really not that painful. It's what I had to do.

Not sure if this is a typo or is official, but Simprograms offers a patch from 1.32 to 1.33 here

The updated page lists the following with links:

I patched from 1.31 to 1.33, therefore I do not know if the above patches work. Comment back if it worked for you.

If you had checked the links, you'd realize it's for 1.31 to 1.33.

I was going to start a new thread, but since this is related, I won't.

I stopped playing Sims 3 when the fall semester started because college and job-holding are time consuming. Sometime in the interim between then and now, I upgraded my computer from Windows Vista to Windows 7 because Vista is crap. In the process, I lost my Sims 3 installation and never bothered to reinstall because of lack of time. Now I am on spring break and I wish to reinstall Sims 3 and all the expansion packs. I have legit copies of base game and Late Night. I used to have all the EPs/SPs in between, but my asshole friend borrowed them and never gave them back. Anyways, I am now in the process of torrenting copies of all the other EPs and SPs.

While waiting for my downloads to complete, I installed base game. I am planning on following these instructions to get Sims 3 to work. I know about the issues with 1.3x, so I decided to follow MTS's advice and use the super patch to go from retail to 1.29, then incremental from 1.29 to 1.31, then 1.31 to 1.33. I downloaded all the necessary manual patches. I double clicked on the super patch, and I got this error:

I tried googling, but didn't find a whole lot of useful information. Does anyone recognize this error or, better yet, know some sort of workaround?

Side note: Should I patch to current then install EPs, or install EPs then patch to current?

EDIT: Wow, I'm an idiot. I just now noticed that my TS3_1.29.55.0140xx_update.exe was a partial download that IE thought it would be fun to drop. The file size is only 33.4 MB - much smaller than the 862 MB the wiki promised. Redownloading and leaving my message for posterity.

I have a most likely stupid question but here it goes anyway, Is there any point in updating to anything beyond 1.29 if I don't have showtime? And where would I find a working AM if I don't because I haven't been able to get AM to work since the 1.26 release.

This is a troll, surely. Some Sims3 site somewhere must have induced its members to troll MATY with these patch-related inquiries as proof of their commitment to Sparkle Motion, Sentimental Poetry, and Blender Drinks. I mean, what else could it be?

Sadly no, these people are just that stupid. Somehow, somewhere, something got them all afwaid to patch there fucking games and the speshul snowflaeks think that everyone else should cater to them.

Patching from 1.32 to 1.33 did not work with the patch downloaded at simprograms, in my case. It is named 1.31 to 1.33, but it is linked as 1.32 to 1.33, so i gave it a try.

The full patch at patches-scrolls.de 1.33 did work. (It is part of dlh.net)
