Sims 3 Base Game with Awesome Mod

I have read over a 1000 post about Awesome installing in the Sims 3.  The only mods I have is the Awesome Mod and TwoFTMomma's Teen Whoo Hoo with no jealousy.  However ever since I've installed the Awesome Mod it has never worked.  I used the online config creator and I even updated my game to version 1.29 which is what Awesome Mod said it needed to run correctly.  I have no internet at home except through my smart phone right, so this morning I've plugged it into the computer to type this message.

I would just like to get this game to work with the mod.  Again sorry for posting this message all together, I just couldn't get it working at all.

You didn't mention where you put your resource.cfg or awesome. Sounds like framework fail to me.

It sounds like mod fail to me - when did Twoftmama last update that mod? I thought it was defunct?

I use tthe Monkey Mod installer thingy with the framework provided here on the site. My mods all go into c:/program files(x86)/electronic arts/the sims 3/mods or something like that.    I know they're in the right spot.  I will try a few other things because I have trouble typing on this phone to reply.  I am pretty sure though it is not the framework.  Thanks I will not be able to test somethings I'm trying until around 4 AM central when I'm getting ready for work.  I have twofootmomma's mod from own site.  Yes.

The monkey mod installer program is obsolete and hasn't been supported in yonks.

The Monkey, as mentioned, is obsolete and has been removed from MTS. You should search for the new way of installing mods and use that now, as it's much simpler and, more importantly, somewhat supported. As much as can be expected of EA, anyway.

Okay.  Thanks for info.  The mod is still not working and now CAS crashes. I was trying to create a sim and the game crashed.  I think that's a good sign though, because it means the mod might be trying to work.  I do some more testing and such this weekend.  Trying to fix my old iMac and play Sims 3 on my PC @ the same time.  LOL!
