CC Not Showing In Launcher

I ended up with the awful day/night boots and the two shirts that cause the baby glitches. I couldn't find them in my launcher to get rid of them and the file names I found for them didn't work either. So I weeded through all my custom content and kept only the things that I knew what it was and deleted everything else. Those were still showing up in my game. So I moved all of my CC and my saved games to folders on my desktop and did a complete uninstall and reinstall. Then I put my CC back into the mods/packages folder. The boots and shirts seem to be gone now but none of my CC shows up in the launcher or in my game anymore. I downloaded a few things and they show up, but the CC I had kept and put back into my Mods/Packages folder doesn't show up. None of my downloaded Sims show up anymore either.

How do I get this stuff to show again?

Why are you using the launcher? The launcher is bad, the launcher is evil, stay away from the launcher. Does the stuff show in game? And I suppose the easy answer would be to re-install them?

They aren't showing up in my game either. And I don't remember where I got it all to go back and download and re-install it again. Why would it stop showing up though? I took it out of the mods/packages folder and put it back in the same folder when I reinstalled my game.

Here we go again.  If you don't know what the framework is, how the hell do you expect to get anything to work?

It was all working before. I put my CC on my desktop and did a fresh install of the game. Then I put my CC back as well as the .cfg file

It would be more helpful if you would answer questions instead of just being rude to people.

Also, the CC I downloaded today is working. What's not working is the CC I had before and put back into the packages folder.

Are you using packages or sim3packs? Cause packages have nothing to do with the launcher. And installed sims3packs get put into your dbc files.

these say sims3.package and I have them in my mods/packages folder since that's the folder I took them out of.
