Awesomemod's showconfig doesn't work

I have the full steam bundle with all the expansions packs.

I followed the instructions here: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,19944.0.html

And when I load the Sims with a custom awesome mod (made with the configuration site) I tried the showconfig command inside ctrl+shift+c (as detailed in http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,17454.0.html) and it says the command is not recognized.

Also the adultless CAS option does not work so this leads to me to think that it didn't install properly but all the files are where they should be, and other modded content shows up.

actually I got it to work.

His install instructions work just fine for steam.

The problem is the custom downloaded mods (even the default configuration) does not load but the file in the WIP post does load.
