THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I have been unable to get a full answer to this question can anyone help please .

In one of my saves i have rebuilt almost totally France and China with new houses etc .

Is there a safe way to move this whole edited sub neighbourhood into a different save so my other saved families can use this edited sub neighbourhood . Thus saving myself the time of having to rebuild the houses etc every time in each saved neighbourhood

Lurked plenty over the last 10 years or so and aware of the assholes who just post asinine remarks and no help , but none of this actually answers my opening question which i still hope someone will answer

You quite blatantly haven't. If you had lurked properly, you would know that sentences start with capital letters, questions end with question marks, and you don't need a new paragraph for every single sentence. Oh, and not to mention you would know why your choice of name is rather unfortunate.

But whatever , i really couldn't care all i asked was a civil question to try and solve  something in my game .  But i should have known with my luck i would get the morons who never help , but  just post pointless comments .

Oh woe is me! The nasty people on the internets won't help poor lil Celestra. Look, if you type properly and try not to act like an imbecile, you will be helped. I was actually pretty nice in my previous posts. You're the one slinging personal insults around. Rather than heed my advice to improve your typing, and maybe spend some time working out how this forum works, if anything, your grammar has actually WORSENED.

Have you worked out WHY your username is ill-advised here? No, of course you haven't. That would require a modicum of effort.

So now i am not getting help because  A) my typing is not perfect and B) because of my screen name ? .  Those comments show that you are as much an imbecile as i am then for replying with needless comments . P.S your typing also is not perfect as using capital letters in worsened is also incorrect grammar .

Dude, if you had spent 10 years around here, and you were still surprised that people were rude when you posted like an idiot, then I would think you were brain-damaged. I suppose if you ARE brain damaged, that would account for the whole numerical inconsistency thing.

As for the username, all cats are grey in the dark.

So now i am not getting help because  A) my typing is not perfect and B) because of my screen name ? .  Those comments show that you are as much an imbecile as i am then for replying with needless comments . No. You're not getting help because you're an unpleasant idiot. The situation is way less complicated than you imagine.

Celestra, as in Battlestar Galactica Celestra?  I love that show!  Just as long as you aren't related to that other "Celestra", which I don't think you are since your typing is different compared to hers which may or may not be a good thing.  Depends on the grammatically-correct punters in these forums. Tongue

Anyways back to the OP, actually that's something I'd be interested in knowing how to do aswell although I'm not sure if it is possible or if it'll mean having to rewrite default world files permanently.  I'd suggest searching through all your folders including the ones in Program Files, making backups of files you're likely gonna end up overwriting, and do a bit of copy/paste job until something works out.  My guesswork thinks you'd have to rewrite the .world files that are in ...The Sims 3 Adventures\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Worlds and maybe even use the Create a World application to modify them, but don't quote me on that as your guess is as good as mine.

If I remember right 10 years ago was when they released The Sex Sims Online, no?  I remember it being released some time around there, even had my own dutch-style cafe home with giant bongs bubble blowers for about a year before I realised it was a boring peice of ass full of meta-lots and watching sims craft gnomes at real time speed was about as entertaining as watching paint dry.

There is a thread on MTS that describes how to convert the WA sub hoods into a main hood. But it is not easy.

Not until you mentioned him/her, not like it matters to me since I don't know who Claeric is.

Answer: There is no currently existing neighborhood-copying tool. You can uproot all the lots one by one and move them that way, but there is no easy method to copy an entire neighborhood.

Actually, as long as no sims in your game have any ties to the vacation hood (relationships or whatever), you can copy the nhd and exportDB files from the save file into the save files of any new worlds, and get the edited hood no problem.

You just have to make sure that you edit the world from a fresh save and never let any sims do anything in it before you save it. If you take a sim there and so much as talk to another sim, you can't properly transfer it over. So just start a new game, go to edit town, edit the world you want to edit, and only move a sim over if you want to edit the sims in the hood- but do not, do not, absolutely do not let the sim do anything but stand still in one spot.

It works flawlessly.

No gong, but I processed it just like this (including visual):

"Yer just 'ave ter make sure that yer edit the world from a fresh Chas'n'Dave and never let any sims do anyfink in it before yer Chas'n'Dave it. If yer take a sim there and so much as rabbit and pork ter anuvver sim, yer can't properly transfer it over. So just start a new game, go ter edit tahn, right, edit the world yer want ter edit, and only move a sim over if yer want ter edit the bloody sims in the hood- but do not, right, do not, absolutely do not let the chuffin' sim do anyfink but stand still in one spot.

"It works florlessly."
