- Why are you using the launcher?
- Have you tried installing your CC the proper way (ie without the launcher)?
- The "right place" is : F:\Games\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 (as far as know) - where the mods\packages folder exists
- I have windows 7 64bit
- I dunno ! Is there another way to install cc? When I click on the packages it directly opens the launcher.

That "right place" isn't generally used much anymore, although it works, if you don't fuck everything up which many people seem to do when they reinstall, the new method EAxis introduced just before AMB was released is much easier.
You were asked about your configuration, not your OS, what OS you are using is really irrelevant.
Why are you clicking on package files to install them? The launcher is only needed to install sims3pack files, but even then there are ways to install those files without using the launcher.
So what is that new method ?
I'm sorry not native english speaker here, I didn't understand clearly what you mean by "configuration"
And for the package files thingy, I don't click on package files (lol they are not clickable!) I was clicking on sims3pack files. I just used the wrong word sry for confusion.
Lastly, today I messed with this problem some more and I finally managed to make some of my downloads show up in game. But only package. files that we put in mods/packages folder. But for the sims3pack files that we put in downloads file, it seems there is no solution for me. I tried to unpack them all and ended up with lots of package files which I tried to put in mo0ds/packages folder manually. This worked perfectly on preventing my game to start up ! LOL The application was totally unresponsive. Then I took all of them out again, the game worked fine. So to sum up, my problem is with store CC. I even tried installing with TSR Merlin. And what happened with Merlin is this : I showed the downloads directory with the sims3pack files in it, Merlin listed them perfectly with images and everything but during the installation it gave "error file doesn't exist" error for every single file.
My game version is 1.18.9.002. My launcher is somehow fcked. It installs the content and when I check installed content they are not there. This is becoming frustrating.
