Well looks like some of these fixes are pretty decent. Especially ATI graphics/wall nonsense. The Subway tips thing really annoyed the hell outta me too. Glad that's fixed. Though, after perusing through that huge list of fixes, I really didn't catch any information in there about fixing the band gig opportunity frequency. Takes much too long to get gigs even when having the full four bandmates as the active household. Guess we'll see. I'm definitely holding off on patching until a new AwesomeMod is posted by Pescado.

Baby Sims will no longer answer a call from the Callbox and invite Sims in.
I've never seen that one, but it sounds pretty funny. Of course, I've had a baby tell my sim that he was behaving inappropriately before, which made just as little sense.
I'll be waiting until AM is updated before I patch. It does at least look like they finally fixed a good amount of the bugs. I'm sure there's a lot they missed that I can't think of at the moment, though.

At least this patch seems to fix something rather than 3 bugs, differently from last ones whose were just for compatibility. And they didn't fixed that damn light issue, how long will they take to fix that. Made the remaining High Rise buildings and the Trash Chute available in the Misc Debug section of Build/Buy mode for advanced users.Didn't someone made a mod for that already? I've updated the Patch Table Generator and Patch Link Generator in case anyone uses that.

While I'm happy at how long the list is, I can't help but see the things that didn't make the list. Like fixing the Dig sites for WA, or addressing the traffic clog that was introduced in LN. Meh. I'm glad the Sims community has enough self-support to fix these things for the rest of us anyway.

How awesome would TS3 be if they just fixed all the bugs rather than create new ones? More time for Pescado to create new features in AM, rather than fix EA's fuckups.

Could anyone here help with one tiny thing? I've been pulling my damn hair out since 10pm trying to get this patch to go through, and have deduced that the resource.cfg file is what is not allowing me to successfully patch. If anyone can supply me a clean, untouched original version of the file, then I can go to sleep and stop pulling out my hair, and avoid the dreaded 5 hour complete re-installation.

Invalid file found when trying to update the new patch,the launcher still isn't working,so I can't update through that either.
Edit: I was able to update with the ambitions patch.

You do realize the "third party patch thing" uses the exact same patch links that are listed here, right? It's amusing that you'd rather go about it the hard way. Do you churn your own butter and make all your own clothes too? Does your computer plug into the wall, or do you have some sort of elaborate bicycle/generator setup? ZOMG, IS IT WIND POWER?

So after a lengthy clean reinstall of both the game and my cc, everything's fine. Damn you EA.
Since this patch doesn't affect Create a World, I'm assuming CAW doesn't have anything that might have been included in Late Night?

I'm trying to avoid making a new thread, and my request is related to this particular patch, so is anyone willing to share their copy of Sims3Launcher.exe from World Adventures (version 2.12.8.009002)? It seems to have gone entirely missing, and I'm unable to patch without it.
