Why not?! I'm not really impatient though, I just HATE long download times, being that I play online games (World of Warcraft *cough*), I don't like to stuff around with my latency as it is (for those "speshul" people who don't understand what latency is, it's the speed at which you receive data at, the higher your latency, the less data you receive making your internet slower). Oh well anyway I really hope to see an improvement in this game from their last expansions, the others just didn't seem as exciting. The main thing I am looking at and drooling slightly over is the roof top pools and the breast sliders (yay no more flat chested skinny sims and big boobed fat sims!).

Although it is good to note that the PB download is now running at a smooth 160 kB/s for me and hasn't dropped in over an hour, 21% complete in 2 hours so far, according to my torrent data it should be done by the time I wake up in the morning.

The first test compilation already exists. The problem is, it fails the basic tests and I'm working on it right now.

Honestly, downloading from the links Erry posted is way faster then using the torrents. My torrent took 3 hours to get to 13%, the files posted took me about 3 hours to completely finish. It's installed and works pretty much perfect from what I've seen so far.

Nope, they're slow because for every person who seeds there are 20 people downloading. At this rate your upload speed needs to be real high to download considerably fast. 3 hours is you looking too often at a torrent's progress, 48 hours of downloading is slow torrent.

I honestly would check out those direct links, but my signal is unstable lately, it keeps breaking up for a couple of seconds from time to time, and that's enough for direct downloads to fail, so I'd probably have too start over indefinitely.

This is the first Sims torrent I actually had to wait around for. The rest were already seeding at at least 100-200 by the time I got to it. I can admit to being unnaturally excited for this expansion. I'm pretty impressed with it, thus far.

I know it's not just WOW-tardness, since both my senator and Trepie manage to post without strangely weird sentence structure and syntax) "not really inpatient", if you're not an inpatient, you must be a part-time in, part-time outpatient. No I don't think they updated it, or else it would be in the patch notes, unless you can assure this then Im gonna install it now.

I finished this morning with the torrent started around like 9PM
and I suppose No one here uses Greedy torrent? it's incredibly greedy I know, but I seed twice as longer because I got it faster. anyways I would suggest downloading greedy torrent to those who are getting in patient

Does anyone know the keygen for the 4 part downloads? I tried finding it somewhere in the ISO but I can't find it anywhere. Or if you don't want to tell me, could you point me in the place it would be in that download? Google is also not very helpful right now I guess its too soon.

It seems you are one of those people, because that is NOT what latency is. Latency has no effect on how much data you can receive.

At the rate its downloading maybe I'll have it by the time the next patch is available and AM is all ready to go with it. I guess I need to do like Pes and just forget about it and quit looking to see how much progress its made.

because if it doesn't work then I would need a full re-install fking duh! and since I am building a world I wasn't going to risk it. After countless of forum posts I finally got a response that it doesn't work, which is what I figured in the First place until some idiot had to go and post here that it does work when it doesn't.  So If you truly did not know what the problem is or was, then you sir are an idiot. It's a simple question. I'd be amazed the day The sims Team releases a CAW update with an Expansion Pack.
