Stupid Sims 3 patch

That was meant for Bluesoup, although if your head is also fat and outrageous by all means go ahead and uninstall yours too.

Should we assume the condition is catching?  STAY AWAY!  I do not wish my head to be fat and outrageous.

Just patched the game, got the latest AM too.
When loading up a world, the bar almost reaches the end, and then it stays that way forever. A short forever, but forever nonetheless.
I've tried this with both saves and new games, but none seem to load, not even Vole's CAS world which usually took around a minute or so before.

No CTD yet. What could be the issue?

Custom content and/or other mods. Try yanking them all out and see if it loads. Also many of Twallan's mods have been updated for the new patch so if you have any of his go there and get the newest versions.

I will not even try to get into details about patching with this latest stupid patch, but trust me when I say - X.x Long story short - could somebody please be so kind to upload the TSHost.dll file from the Ambitions CD (not the one you have on your HD - that one is probably already patched, so I`d have no use for it). My .iso image of AMB somehow mysteriously lost it, and now I can`t install it, and b/c I can`t install it, I can`t patch and...well, you know. We all got the same mind fuck from EA...

So, if anyone is reading this and has 2 minutes of spare time...yea. I`d appreciate the shit out of that.

Maybe you should get a different .iso. Are you sure this one isn't broken in other ways?

And since I`m on a limited internet bandwidth (10GB/month), d/l a new 4.6 GB heavy .iso for just that one small missing file seems kinda redundant :/

Did you recently add some new CC? 9 times out of 10 that turns out to be the issue :/

Nope, didn't add any new CC. Didn't touch anything except update Sims and Awesomemod.

My suggestion: Cancel your ISP and go back to dialup. Even 56K is worth a bit shy of 20 GB/mo. What you have is a connection about half the speed of common dialup. Whatever you're paying for it, it's too much.

Try installing the basegame patch that is in this thread Willee. If that one doesnt work, get this one:
