To be fair, this guy is obviously ESL. I know jezzer is a new grammar cop, and thus eager to do his noble duty, but this seems a little harsh. I mean, if I were posting on, for example, a french sim site, all I could say is "OU EST LA BIBLIOTEQUE?" over and over.

You see the difference in tone?  One has a lighthearted suicide all can enjoy, while the other promises FIERCE RETRIBUTION.

Is the cow plant uploaded by 'Icantbebothered' working for anyone? I downloaded it, used multinstaller to turn it into a package, and put it in my mods folder just like all the other store items I have and while they all show up, the cow plant doesn't. I've tried using the cow plant single file and the entire set file and neither one works.

I decrapified it first before converting to packages and it worked.  It didn't work for me with just vanilla packages.

That would be the problem then since I didn't decrapify first. Although I just redownloaded the file and tried to do it by dragging the file over decrapify.exe and the black box won't show up. I'm confused.

Ever since the most recent update for the Sims a lot of my items have been missing that I've downloaded from here, some specific one's I've noticed is all the "Hippy" clothing and hairstyles. Note: There's more than just these missing, these are just some main examples i've noticed.

When I look in my Mods folder, all of the original files are still there, but they're just not showing up in the game.

I've tried removing the Mods folder, starting the game regularly, and then putting it back in after restarting the game, still no luck.

Is there a fix to this without re-downloading all of the files? Because I'm unsure as of where to even find all the files I've downloaded now it's been so long.

Have you tried re-installing them? The downloads folder only contain the sims3packs; just because they are in there doesn't mean they are installed.
