I just installed all the new downloads successfully. I suspect it's an ID10T error.

Worked for me, too.  Could possibly be a PEBKAC, as well.

Dude, just use jfade's front end if you can't get it to work.

Can you give me the actual name of whatever you're talking about? The only search results for "jfade's front end" don't tell me a thing.

Better yet, someone who has managed to fucking get it to work could just upload it. I have no idea why it's not working.

Even better yet, you could not be a demanding little bitch and do the work yourself. Someone already provided you with the original and you not being smart enough to decrapify it is not a problem of anybody else.

For the record, I just decrapified it. It's not difficult.

Have you even read the last 20 posts? I've been trying to decrapify it. It isn't working. I don't know why. I've done the work myself. It isn't working.

I'm doing everything I'm supposed ot. It worked for other files. It's not working for this one. Can't any of you be decent for a fucking second and just help or upload it? I'm trying to do it, and it's not working. I have done everything the right way. I'm sure nobody likes the thread going on forever about trying to get this one file to work, either.

Hey, Claeric, is this what you've been doing to the sims3packs?

http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,18408.msg535029.html#msg535029

That set-up worked for me on all the most recent stuff.  There's also S3PE, which is what I think what was referred to earlier as JFade's front end.  Not sure.  I've not used that myself.

Other than that, I got nothing, short of redownloading stuff to make sure you don't have a borked file.

You know, girl, for someone who made a CAREER of being an ass to people on MTS, you really can't take it, can you?  The thread will stop "going on forever about trying to get this one file to work" if you nut ovary up and SEARCH MOAR.  The information is out there.  Have you tried redownloading it to see if your original file was corrupted?

No, that is just S3PE.

JFade did a shell for s3rc called Compressorizer but its just a user interface, if s3rc is not decrapifing then the Compressonizer is not going to work either.

I dont decrapify, I create .dbc so I can only say it works on my end as usual.

Note: Pescado says if you decrapify the sims3packs, you also need to do other files.

"If you decrapify objects, you must decrapify all of your SAVED GAMES (.nhd & .packages in your .sims3), PRESETS (userPresets.package), and LIBRARY."

I usually also use Delphy'd dashboard thingy to clear all the caches after a new install.

I read in the German/United Kingdom news and events that you can also grab a "Bavarian Bistro". It appears to be unavailable at the moment.

It's mentioned in the news section of the European Sims 3 sites.

Silent Dreamer, I noticed that you're missing three items from some of your older sets. The bonus mirror that matched the Hacienda set, the Fountain that was also a bonus, and this store set are missing.

*recently started decrapifying instead of package merging, and had to download all your sets or wouldn't know about this at all*

I didn't notice anything else as missing though.

**Edit: You also missed this set.

Just out of curiousity, has anyone successfully downloaded the Octoberfest set from either of the two download links in this thread? Neither one is working for me.. and not sure if it's the files, or my internet connection atm...

That link did also work for me, but it took about 30 minutes before the file was downloaded.

I think it's a problem with the filehosting.  My download speed dropped drastically on that file as well.

I think its a mediafire problem, my AV kept blocking the download as malicious. I finally got everything and I have updated my 4shared, link in the siggy.
