Why this dumbas sim behave like a dumbass ?

Did you know why this freak sim, go to sleep with sports cloth, go to work with the elegant one ?
and i wonder why, the idiot one, run like Usain Bolt to go from a room to another..
... looks like all bugs coming from TS2 as been transfered on TS3

maybe it's 'cause the arr.exe that i use to play without dvd ?

Sims with the insane trait wear inappropriate clothes.

I do not know why sims run instead of walk, it does look wrong. I thought it was a mod, but it happened in my unmodded game as well. Maybe it's the athletic trait.

Yeah athletic sims seem to run EVERYWHERE, so do brave sims from my experience. Lazy sims seem to slump around like they are still half asleep, it's rather entertaining, although the running is rather frustrating and stupid.

   I don't think so. Sims without the athletic or brave traits run through the places, it's weird, but it's an EA thing. Insane sims use stranges clothing category. My insane sim uses to sleep in bath and go to bistro in athletics

Why? Isn't it more convenient if they run and more entertaining if Insane sims behave oddly?

There's also a bug in the vanilla EA game, either with the update or AMB, I'm not sure which. If any of your sims play tag with another sim, those sims will forever after run EVERYWHERE. Just today I discovered that Twoftmama at Crazytown has a mod that disables autonomous tag; I'm hoping it prevents this until EA patches the game.

It isn't the athletic trait triggering this.  I have a lazy, fat, couch potato that runs from the refrigerator to the stove; 2 tiles away! Another suggestion was that playing tag triggered this.  That is all well and good but this slob of a man also hates children, so I doubt that is why he runs.

Sims are DAMN SLOW, so when I get around to playing TS3 I prefer that my sims run everywhere.  For this bug, I get to check the "feature" box.

I don't have AwesomeMod installed yet, and no other mods, so it appears to be a "feature" of the game. None of my Sims has played tag.

You can try using this mod by Shimrod: http://ts3.tscexchange.com/index.php?topic=3907.0. It forces your Sims to walk normal instead of 'fast walk' or 'running'. You could also try Twallans Debugger: http://ts3.tscexchange.com/index.php?topic=3857.0. By using the debugger, you are able to use it on City Hall and it forces everyone to walk.
