If I recall correctly, when using Awesomemod and its story driver, the people in your town (excluding your active family) won't try for babies if Aging is turned OFF.
However, does this still apply even when you are using TS2-style aging with the Aging option ON?

Yes. If they never age, they never need to reproduce: Otherwise, they'd stay pregnant forever or your neigborhood would go boom.
