Loveletters dissapear

My sim had a date and recived a loveletter, but it never showed up in her inventory  

I play a challenge and no hacks are allowed except hacks that fix real game bugs ... this is the ones I have in my game

Nothing else. No objects, no walls, no recolors or anything at all, only the above fixes.

Can I fix this somehow ?

Honestly I have no idea. I just kept it because I didn´t know if that was fixed in a later EP, and I do not know where to go look for that kind of information. But I assume that I should remove it, right? Guess that I should also remove the Hygiene Bug Fix and Get In Car Fix.

Easiest way to check is to download the DC for your latest EP. If the hack isn't in the DC, you probably don't need it. All those you've mentioned in your last post aren't compatible/needed with a game up to Apartment Life. As for the rest...you aren't using MATY names for them, so I can't be sure if they are from here or elsewhere.

You can remove all the hacks which say 'X only', they would've been fixed either in a patch or a later version of the hack.

That said, it's unlikely they're the cause. I've had this problem in my game for quite a while now and I don't know what causes it. Recently, one of my sims' sister got the mail after his date, and she ended up getting his love letter in her inventory. That was the first time it has worked in ages, but I don't know why or if I did anything to make it work, or whether it will work again next time. The only hacks I've taken out lately are none of the ones in your list.

Thanks Tarlia, nice to know that I´m not alone. I´ll go through the fixes and remove the unnedded ones and I´ll send my sim on a date in vanilla ... let´s see what happens then

Something for a specific version ONLY must never be placed in anything OTHER than those very specific versions, or else the game may malfunction horribly.

Well ... it was one of them hacks. Just tried without and the loveletter appear properly in the inventory. You know, I always tell others to remember to update their hacks and then I do something like this. I don´t know what to say, feeling pretty stupid right now.
