Question on AM
« on: 2009 September 27, 21:23:35 »
THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I loaded AM and the pre-requs, but it doesn't seem to do anything.  Maybe I just don't know what I'm doing?  The first time I loaded the game it did the 'old car' hang, so I'm assuming the mod is installed right.  Then second time it loaded up fine, but shift clicking/etc on characters don't do anything neither does a showconfig in the cheats bar.

I am running a legit copy of Sims3 on a Macintosh.  Any thoughts?

Try ctrl + shift + clicking on characters instead.  I don't think shift clicking does anything useful.

Did you enable debugging commands and testing cheats in the AM configuration? Some things are 'shift-click,' some are 'control-click' and some are 'control-shift-click.' The testing cheats are typed in the cheat box.

I may have misread your post, but if when you type "showconfig" in the cheat bar nothing happens, it means AM isn't installed right.
