Problemm with not being able to get in cars

 THANKS THIS IS GREAT
I am having a problem re. sims not being able to get in/use cars on a particular lot. When attempting to do so the sim freezes and I have to reboot the game to continue. It only happens on one particular lot. Is there a fix for this other than trashing the lot?

Thanks you for any suggestions.

Have you tried removing your downloads folder and seeing if you can play the game properly that way?

I have tried removing the downloads folder but the game will not start without it. Also on a completely empty lot the car function works fine so I suppose I might do a 50/50 removal from the downloads folder to try to narrow it down.

Any other suggestions/ fixes appreciated.
