ooohh!! I agree on the
- bunkbeds (I love the Grand Trianon collection!) - spiral stairs
Plus: - multi-junction and modular counters - shelves like in BV (so I can store my collectibles in one spot) or those clothes hangers/shelves in OFB (so I can create a walk-in-closet space) - mirrored closets (or at least the doors are)
and in Build mode: - half and unleveled walls (building split-levels and placing roof(s) are a PIA in TS3) - steps (configurable to whatever number instead or multiples of 4, which I'd wish EA had done instead of the stair width slider they did)

I really, really miss the spiral stairs and bunkbeds and toddler blanket, too. The stairs in TS3 are a pain in the ass! You have to place them 2-wide if you don't want everyone queuing up as well. I also want Numenor's wallwindows and shelves. The fishbowls are taking over the house! How about a fish tank? I was a bit put out when I couldn't take my sims to a nightclub - where are they supposed to pick up dubious men? The library? I tried to make one, but it's byob. They can't woohoo in public either - it sucks.

They can woohoo at the theatre. Get the option with a couple that are hot for each other.

Escalators are very amusing. Picture someone falling down an upward-moving escalator.
They'd just fall forever! Heh.

Sims can also woohoo at City Hall and the science lab. In all four cases, the sims you want to have live dangerously need to go on a tour together.

Hmmm, let's see... - a free standing shower like the one that came with university - clutter of any kind (more plants, kitchen pots and utensils, bathroom supplies, gardening tools, etc.)
Hell yes! Those are number one and two on my list. More cars. Seriously...who in Sunset Valley wouldn't love to take a nice drive along the coast in their convertible? Changing Tables...it just looks weird to toss the kid in the air, and boom...clean diaper. Other baby/toddler accessories would be nice too. Stationary bicycle. I prefer those to treadmills thanks much. What about an elliptical or stair stepper machines? Those would be a nice addition to any home or gym. I know it's not buy mode...but I want my half walls back damn it! *shakes fist at EA for taking them away* It's fugly as all hell using a fence in place of a half wall.

Fireplaces which can be stacked atop each other, sharing one chimney. It's idiotic if I want fireplaces on 2 floors I have to partition off so much space.
Custom paintings with recolorable frames. How EA missed this, given we can customize everything else to death, I don't know. A few nice, empty (recolorable, damnit!) frames which we can choose the pictures for.
Moar fence choices, or the ability to recolor what we have.
Square-cut male trunks for working out and swimming that don't hang down to the knees.
Everything else has already been mentioned.

A program/tool to import TS2 meshes directly in TS3. Flowers, bushes, potted plants and watever green that can be placed anywhere. The only pots I can place on a tea table are ridiculous small or stupid look. Stackable foundations in 3 different heights, connectable by stairs and passable thru normal doors. Spiral stairs are good to save space but very few use them. Instead it is useful to make indoor stairs that can change direction - who would place spirals on appartment buildings? Swimmable seas and ponds. Sims can dive from pool borders, not just close the nose and jump on fat lady style.

I was a bit put out when I couldn't take my sims to a nightclub - where are they supposed to pick up dubious men? The library? I tried to make one, but it's byob. They can't woohoo in public either - it sucks. I put a double bed on the beach bar and my female sim had no issues with woohooing Gus Something. When a teen female sim showed up Gus went up to her and asked her to leave. It was quite funny. I am presently redecorating my hood and incorporating apartment like features in the community lots. It's like free hotel for homeless sims. Anyway, I would really love to have back the possibility to stack stairs on top of another on multiple floors, like normal buildings have. Alternating the location on each floor takes up too much space.

I may be late, don't get to play much. I was amazed when Ruby Broke dived in the pool, a real nice smooth dive. Buck Broke did the close nose, flat splash.

There were ways to do this in TS2 before OFB introduced the stage. If I'm not mistaken, the constrainfloorelevation cheat exists in TS3 as well, without the "boolprop", to put it in layman's terms.

Unfortunately, CFE is much more broken in TS3 than it was in TS2.

At least one of them does stack.

1. Deadly weapon. 2. Spiral staircase. 3. Anything with craftables (like the pottery wheel from FT). 4. Rejuvenator 5. Thinking Cap and Smart Milk
I know spiral staircases and the rejuvenator have already been mentioned. Just shows how popular they are!

I heard they can also do it at the Mausoleum, but haven't confirmed this myself.
Makeout option only. They can woohoo in City Hall, Theater, Military Base and Science Lab.

How do you get that to happen? I've sent horny young couples on tours together but nothing happened...

Once they enter the building, click on the building again and the option should be available.

I've never had that option. Must be yet another glitch my game has.

Bunkbeds, of course, for maximum spawn in minimum space.
Some flowers/bushes, because I think the ones that came with the game are all ugly. Not to mention some of the ground plants are freakishly huge in comparison to the Sims. Call me crazy, but I liked the little squares from TS2.
More styles of double bed, maybe one with the best stats but without that canopy. I just hate it for some reason; it never seems to look right to me.
Of course, the toddler floor blanket and the toddler mirror, too.

-"Woohoo Bush" for residential and community lots. -Kitchen knife for murderous housewives and psycho door to door salesmen. -Shelves, maybe even just storage boxes like a safe for gems and metals. -A portable Easel that goes in a sim's inventory and works automatically like the guitar or laptop. If a painting is completed it should automatically go in their inventory so they can start another, otherwise it stays mounted on the easel. I was pretty bummed that sims couldn't do this by default.
Others have already been mentioned numerous times.

I'd like a bathtub with shower and curtain, like the most expensive in TS2 (the less expensive was ugly). Things other people said I very much agree: Spiral stairs Customizable stairs/fences The free standing shower from Uni Bunk beds More houseplants (and bigger) (and taller) The portable easel The piano Bottles: I miss the VW Beetle too. It was my favourite download from MTS and half my sims in TS2 were Beetle drivers (I never had one, instead I drove one of these).

All I really want is an aquarium, to get rid of all the stupid fishbowls. Or shelves. Something to get rid of the multiple fish-on-coffee tables.

Ah, this! I might be alone here, but I'm really not a fan of the cluttered look. Having a million fishbowls spread out over every available surface in my Sims' homes pisses me off to no end. If there was just one giant aquarium that held all the fish, that would be fantastic. Also, a three-tile dining table that isn't all Art Nouveau or whatever that style is supposed to be. Some object on residential lots that sims can use to WooHoo other than the bed. I don't care if it's couches or cars or even a bush as someone suggested earlier. I like a little variety. Other music instruments would be nice, but would you earn Guitar skill for using them? I'm not sure I'd go for that. Oh, and sectional seats!
