I was wondering if there was a mod to remove those horrible sounds from trying to place a door or window in build mode? I really don't know if that is a mod that would be too complex or not. It makes me crazy when I'm building. Especially when I have the "Move objects" cheat on.

I made a mod for this. To use it, turn your speakers all the way down when you're in Build Mode, then turn them up again when you start to play your Sims. It works really nicely and is compatible with all the expansions.

Ha ha. Smart ass. Maybe I'd like to hear other sounds and not that annoying "Clunk clunk."

Is there a mod that allows for pleading with the Grim Reaper?  One of my Sims recently died in a fire (unfortunately his wife wasn't able to save him) and I wasn't ready for him to die yet.  Yes, I know, I shouldn't have saved when he died.  I checked over at MST and found nothing.  I checked here and nothing came up.  I just find it frustrating that I wasn't able to have his wife plead with the Reaper to bring him back.

Quick mod request...

Replace the hot tub water with the well water from WA.  The idea is to make it so that the water itself can change color when you click the wheel, not just the obscured lights.  I want my vamps tubbing in plasma, dangit.

I have successfully followed the directions to decrapify, install, and change to dbc for all the other things I have downloaded from the store thread, but that one just wouldn't work. If I failed at decrapifying it how can I manage to convert it?

It's probably the ONE thing that hasn't been included in one big package yet.

You are doing something wrong somewhere. If you are getting .dbc files in DCCache after installing via the launcher, then you are probably doing something right(if you get something like a .ebc file or whatever, you are doing something wrong). If you are changing the name of the .dbc files and leaving them in DCCache, then you are doing it wrong, if you change their name and put them in your mods folder, that is only the right thing to do if you've modified your resource.cfg file to "see" .dbc files. It is seriously very easy, you are probably just missing something simple.

You know, for bars that are meant to be "boppin'" and other out-of-fashion descriptions, I would hardly call eight sims in a bar or club a happening hotspot.

Is there a mod out there that 1) Increases the number of sims in a supposedly crowded bar or club and 2) forces at least a couple of sims into bars that are meant to be "dead"? I've been to pubs and bars on a slow night, and there's usually at least a couple of people around that aren't bar staff!

You can follow the instructions in this thread to change the max number of sims in clubs, though if you try to set a number higher than what your computer can handle, it'll cause lag/crashing issues.

It's unlikely to significantly worsen lag because all sims already are active in the neighborhood, but most EAxian bars are very badly designed and do NOT have good traffic throughput. Expect mass route failure tantrums, foot stomping, and people getting stuck and peeing on the floor if you increase it without a massive redesign.

Fair enough. I tried it out on a crappier computer and had it crash on me, but considering its crappy-like specs, it could've been something else entirely.
