Granny gaining fishing skill while asleep. Talk about multi-tasking.

This is the first Sims 3 bug I've found that actually does something useful

I've seen this sleep skilling also. It looks like they can skill up anything while sleeping (Dreaming about it or just awesome failure on EA's side).

Heh, I was feeling sarcastic after the dice threw him up more or less like that. He had emo hair and cloths, and I wanted to make him a guitar playing bum/collector experiment.

I've seen this sleep skilling also. It looks like they can skill up anything while sleeping (Dreaming about it or just awesome failure on EA's side).

So far I've noticed it often happens when a sim is watching a skill related television channel (ie. cooking) and then another sim hijacks the tv to play video games. The sim fails to realize that it's no longer watching tv and continues to skill that specific ability forever. Even when the blue bar doesn't show up, that one skill is still increasing when you look in the skill tab.

I got cooking, fishing, and gardening maxed that way

At first, I didn't think to pick it up since it looked like a terrain doodad. Then as I was scrolling away, I did a doubletake. It looked suspiciously like a... egads.

So my Sim cheerily went up to it and swiped it to put it into his Hammerspace. This now redefines the term "butthurt noob" for I.

I roffled over the description of the meteorite "pummelling" the Earth, and yet somehow it does not smash the table (although we know that a small kitteh in TS2 could totally destroy a sofa).

It seems that MOAR FIGHT! is an included part of the game. I only managed to snap the end of it, but while one of my sims was at work, two npc's were attempting to beat the stuffing out of each other.

Do the gnomes ever move when you're looking? Because I just see mine in different places on the lot. Lately, he's been outside in the garden by a tombstone.

They just teleport (without shiny effects) in a new spot and a new pose. It's not that exciting. I did find that if you kick them into a pose and then place them, you can ensure that they stay that way. That's what I did with my house that had five of the buggers.

My current instance, I'm playing Riverview with only seven other families in residence, set as townies and ignored until I absorb them all. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that this meant that my starter sim wouldn't have any marriage prospects. She's a grumpy loner, anyway. So...seduced a ghost. Ew. And, unfortunately, she went and had a ghost baby. The ghost baby, Magnolia, will be going on a quest to become the best gardener possible so that she can grow the life fruit and become a real girl.


Sarah realizes what she's done. Or she's being driven mad by the crazy lined wallpaper. Being a poor, struggling author and single mother sucks.


Teaching toddler Magnolia to walk.


Magnolia visits the catacombs. She didn't even find anything on the trip.

Interestingly, when you change appearance/plan outfit for a ghost, you can see what they would look like in the flesh.

First, a little freak-out that had me giggling.



Here is my sim teaching her toddler to walk. I had thought her legs looked a little funny from a far and zoomed up to take a look. Imagine my pleasure when I saw this.  



I have HP's default replacements and while I understood that the skins would look funky under certain lighting... yeah. The skin's just like that in the dark, though.



I personally think the criminal career building is the best out of all of them. I never really made use of that career in TS2, but I'm really enjoying it now. That and the bell peppers I have my sim harvest after every shift.



Speaking of criminals, the Cat Burglar outfit is very Sith-like. I like it.



Here, my teen was chatting up a townie on the sidewalk right in front of her house. Apparently that was far enough to have the fuzz pull up to "bust" her for being out past curfew. Guh.



Last, but not least, the nipples! And the creature they're attached to. "Wow" was the main thought going through my head when I came upon this townie.



Just wow.

Munchhausen is included in the Sims:

As soon as Magnolia and Shelby had their first child (the toddler is his clone-baby), he rolled the want for another, and she rolled to see the baby's ghost. Not the ghost of her mother, who just died, but the ghost of her ghost-baby. I mean, I understand...I didn't want Magnolia to be a ghost sim and I sure didn't want Nicole to be, but I wasn't going to off her. Now, perhaps I will.
