Custom musics?

How do you get custom songs to work, i plopped my songs in the custom folder or wherever and it's just playing the eaxis babble they packed with the game

Please can someone help, my sims will die without their fix of war of the worlds.

I think you need to put them in the CustumMusic folder, as you did, but they will be played in a special radio station called Custom Music or something

Works for me.  I put 10. L7 - Shitlist.mp3 in H:\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Custom Music\
Didn't want to wait half an hour or whatever for it's turn to play, so removed all other files from that folder.  In game, turned on radio and set to custom station.

Beep-beep.

I might suggest testing by trying only one of the "custom" EA songs.  That is, if you remove all but one song from Custom Music directory, only the one song you leave behind should play on the custom station.

I removed the default  songs when I put my own in there, since there's no options to change song
