Large lots crash my game upon loading them

Yes, I lurked first. Yes, I did numerous searches. No, I still couldn't find any information on this, although I could *swear* I remember reading something about it months ago. Here's the problem: I can only seem to load small-and-medium sized lots without crashing my game, which more-or-less ruins the ability to have, you know, working apartments and stuff. I seem to remember a specific (outdated?) mod causing the problem, but I'll be damned if I can remember what it was. Does anyone here happen to know what that might be? Pretty please, with a cherry on top?

P.S. I have all EPs and SPs, except for M&G Stuff.

If you think it's a mod, did you remove your downloads folder and test to see if that eliminated the crash?

If so, did you then do a binary search?

No, because I'm basically lazy. I did, however, remember which hacks caused this problem the last time, removed them, and am still having trouble loading large lots, even though my specs are well above EA's minimum requirements. My next step will be removing Downloads, and then a binary search, if necessary. If anyone cares, the hacks that caused problems the last time were Christianlov's all-in-one NPCs (I was stupid and left the non-updated versions in my DL folder).

I always wonder that as well. I have, many times, snorted a drink up my nose when something unexpectedly funny popped up on my screen, but never have I spewed  it.

I did, however, once pee myself while laughing hard at a failblog video. I'm sure that peeing yourself while on failblog means you've failed twice as hard as if you pee yourself anywhere else.

I'm still very partial to the idea of going haywire after the level of abuse reaches a certain point, and zapping everyone in sight. Aside from this, I really feel that my calling is to be installed as a permanent fixture on every community lot, recharging perpetually.
