More FUBAR Than You January: Gameplay Glitches

Thank you, Tsarina, for making me the next FUBAR thread starter. 

Let's say you are enjoying your game. More particularly, you are enjoying the company of your favorite sim. They have just come home from work, and you are expecting them to bring home a promotion. All their skills have been earned, they went to work in a good mood, and you had no chance cards to answer. They have gone to work religiously and they are always on time. However, when they get home, they get a demotion! You take a snapshot...

And you post it here. Where else would you post it?

This month's MFTY revolves around finding the worst gameplay glitches evar! Like last month, the photos that you post can be yours from your own game, or something that you find on the internet. However, they may not be official bloopers, or they will be disqualified.

So, here's my picture, found on some random site. I had tons of pictures from my game, but I'm beginning to suspect that my game is ashamed of itself, as all of the glitch pictures I take keep disappearing...



This is disqualified since it is an official blooper, but I thought it was hilarious anyway.

Fire that wouldn't go out.  I deleted the stove but the flames kept showing.  The fire did something to the game, because I invited the headmaster over later that day and I wouldn't get any points for food, so I failed the visit.  Since I saved, I had to evict the household and use the familyfunds cheat to restore all the money I lost reubying the objects over again.

If videos count, I uploaded a video to YouTube titled The Sims 2 Fire Glitch where the fireman wouldn't come out of the truck, my Sims couldn't do anything.  This time I didn't save and reload the lot from when I last played.

I never figured out what exactly caused the glitch in either case.

Exiled, I think I had that exact same set of glitches some time back. I want to say it was something non-awesome conflicting with firemod, but I don't really remember.

Here's one that rather amused me when it happened



"Nikki" happens to be one of my sim's employees.  She quit a little while later, I guess she expected the raise I wasn't going to give her...she was at 0% quit chance before the pop up

@Pescado - I think we have a case of "Babby adopted by wolves" or at the very least, early genetic werewolf-ism. 

@Exiled - Yes, videos count. What's more fun looking at a picture of the Sims 2 and its FUBARedness? Watching the Sims 2 and its FUBARedness.

I think, though I am not sure, that he was remarking on the vaguely Romulus-and-Remus appearance of it. In which case the answer to his question would be "His brother killed him.". Of course, I may be grossly misinterpreting.

Within five minutes of firing up AL:

Yeah, they seriously screwed up the family trees in AL. I took me awhile to fix it in my game, although it's not terribly hard. It's something to do with them being set as both a parent and a sibling at the same time if I remember correctly. Still, that doesn't excuse them for being totally brainless cuntwaffles (oh how I love this word).

Curry and really, really, really spicy chili. And apparently, great woohoo.

Imagine the warning labels on the sheet packaging. "Warning, is known to be flammable around spicy chili, curry, and sweet, sweet love!"

Elevation cheat + pool created funkiness. Reenabling the cheat and leveling should fix it.

Possibly this fits better with the previous MFTY theme, but I wanted to share the insanity:




Sims: jolrei and jfade. I keep getting the same glitch with this CC shower, possibly it doesn't take up as much floorspace as it should.

I had a glitchy camera snapshot.
I was taking some snapshots of a house layout, when I took this one of the second floor I noticed that the rugs from the first floor are all showing on the second floor picture (circled)
