Well, I guess it's that time again - I have 225 points left over from the castle set.  I'd have to ask hubby if I can buy more points though.  I was hoping they were done with the collections.  They have to stop sometime.  I'm sure the TV will need updating - I'm just guessing though.  The adult hairs enabled for elders.

The furniture looks vaguely like the Mission stuff that came with OFB.
I don't see much that's too Asian-y about it. Except for the screen-type windows and doors maybe.

Ooh, I like those long dresses. I like the furniture too even though it looks like it was made by Ikea Tongue

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I am going to get most of the furniture items.
UPDATE

Here is a link to all the furniture

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jmzz24g0zm2

The only pieces not included (I ran out of points, sorry)
Fourtunes window 100pts
Door of Opportunity 75pts
Doorways to Happiness 100pts
Commanding Soji Screen 50pts

Please let me know if there are items missing that are NOT listed above.  The last time I did a link I missed some items somehow. I believe they are all there.
I have not yet tested these in game so I don't know what is broken.  I'm off to do that now. I figure I can't fix -em anyway if they are broken so I'll just get the files out there to the people who can.  Grin

Others can get hair and clothes if they are so inclined.  But I'm just posting this so others don't waste points on the
furniture.

The furniture doesn't thrill me, but I like the plants and clothes. I'd help out, but I'm a broke college student and already spent my money on food and laundry. Those of you that have been providing the store items for the rest of us are truly Awesome.

Also, EA sucks even more for making people pay for the child and teen versions of the hairs separately.

The potted Bamboo glory works fine for me... I'm not sure what the problem with that could be... The fountain I believe there
is a problem with. It is not showing up in my game either.   I'm trying to open it in SimPE but am getting an error.   Can someone more awesome than I see if that file is totally borked? I'm guessing since SimPE won't open it it's borked.

Cerridwen, the fountain IS borked, SimPe cannot open and I cannot find it anywhere. The potted bamboo has a proble just as mentioned by jacqpinks. Could you redownload these please? Move your Sims Store folder or delete and fire the EA Downloader, it will re-download all of the items.

I noticed the potted bamboo and the other two-tiled plant have PainitngGlobals instead of PlantGlobals, will update in a sec. Along with the TV (AL update).

I will try redownloading both Rischief.

jacqpinks - The screen isn't there because I ran out of points.  There are four items I didn't buy stated in my post.
The screen, the door and the two windows.

"Giant Bonsai Tree" has retrieved "PlantGlobals". I will update the other plant as soon as Cerridwen posts a functioning version.

I also made a fix to this issue for two Maxis-made plants.

Description:
Two Maxis-made plants have retrieved "Plant Globals", both used to have "Sculpture Globals".

Installation:
Unzip, move to:
"Program Files > EA Games > The Sims 2 Latest EP (or M&G SP) > TSData > Res > Catalog > Bins".

Example:
"Program Files > EA Games > The Sims 2 Mansion & Garden Stuff > TSData > Res > Catalog > Bins".

This "should" be a functioning version of the fountain. It opens without error in SimPE. According to SimPE it's found in
Decorative/wallhangings.

As for the giant bamboo of glory ..... I'm not sure what is "wrong" with this.  It seems to work just fine in my game.

But for good measure.. here it is again.

Link to working Bamboo of glory in Havelocks post 53 - Thanks Havelock!

I think the objects don't look really Asian because the designs are supposed to be a mix of Eastern and Western influences.  The clothes give off that same vibe too.

I'm going to be able to get a little bit of stuff tomorrow morning.  I will look then to see what still needs to be bought.

Ok, I went ahead and got the male hair...for adult, teen and child.  So don't waste your money on those.  Now I have to go figure out how to get them uploaded somewhere (I'm new to this...).
