I tried playing for the first time in months, with all expansion packs and no securom. I haven't put any objects back in the game yet, except for the hacked eastores ones, and a lot of LordDarcy's hacked ones: preorders, beds with comfort and others. And my hacks.
Is there any known bug with any of those?

On what kind of seating is it crashing? Dining chairs? Armchairs? Sofas? Loungers? Booths?

Then it must be something in dining chair section, which is the default subcategory in seating. I don't think I've made anything relevant except for cleaned-up version of IKEA dining chair, for which people had reported no problem so far. Try removing it and see if it makes any difference. |

Thank you for your answer. I've ruled out the bed fixes, ea store, and I'm working on the preorders.
Found, it was the Nominell dining chair.

That's strange, for I have no such crashing problem. You said you have all EPs. Do you have IKEA pack? Which version did you download, cleaned-up version or standalone version? And where did you put it, in Downloads folder or Bins folder under the Program Files? Sometimes corrupted file broken during the download can cause a problem. |

Yes, I have Ikea. I recently downloaded the decustomized and updated versions. I put it in a folder in the Downloads folder.
Thank you for everything you do to make the game more enjoyable, I'll have to create a folder in your name, I have most of your hacks and edits. Even though I don't play(due to a bloated objects folder, and an inability for getting rid of what I like), my game is up-to-date.
Edit: downloaded again, same thing.

Indiasong, it's still not clear from your post whether you're downloading the "Ikea required" or the "standalone" version. You should be downloading the "Ikea required" version, which is the link just below the Ikea picture in LD's thread.

Standalone version works fine even if IKEA pack is installed. It merely contains duplicate, redundant resources which are already included in the IKEA pack itself.
I'm at a loss. Both versions work fine in my game, regardless of their location. Unless the original unaltered version is lurking in somewhere, which doesn't seem to be in your case, that chair should not make the game crash.

If part of the GUIDspace for a multi-tile object is stomped by a GUID conflict, your game will immediately crash when you try to use that object.

I had one conflict once, but it didn't crash in debug mode, just showed me a picture of the other object.
I tried debug mode here and it crashed nonetheless.
If I had another instance of this chair, it would show in clean installer, wouldn't it?
I suppose I could try with the simpe guilld scanner, in case the chair sneaked in in another form.

Yes, I know, but I just have preorders and modified Maxis objects in my game at this point no object cc.

3 hours later and past bedtime: found a chair living director bundle conflicting with the chair director. I'll check if the bundle was the culprit tomorrow.
No, still crashes with nominell in.
