Hand baby to bookcase?

My sim became annoyed at the bookcase when it made no move to take the baby from him. 

And what does rain have to do with it?  I guess this is not good, hm?

I hope not, I'd say at least half the time my sims have multiples, they don't queue a human to hand the first baby to.

That's just a minor icon glitch that happens when subqueue actions are subqueued on an invisible action. Ignore it.

Baaaahhh.  I am reassured.  Although a wild pack of sim children raised by furniture would have been interesting.
