Career clothing not available?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I could swear that every career outfit became unlocked after a sim has worn it...but after installing Freetime, that no longer happens.

And I can't even snarf them with the clothing tool now.

That has not been the case in my game. Career clothing turns up for me.  I do have the patch installed and it has not caused any problems in my game, except causing some of my families to be unplayable until moved into a new house.

I just patched this afternoon after finally finding the patch.  Haven't had a chance to see if it fixed the problem, tho.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I had the impression there was a hack here that disabled career outfits for everyday wear. Do you have the DC? I haven't got my folder on this computer so I can't check myself.

I dunno if there is, but if I really want the career outfit I can grab it using the clothing tool.

Ok, I can use the "Snarf current outfit" option and it'll get them, but the "Snarf career outfit" option is nonfunctional.

So this moves from a PITA to a minor annoyance.

I still have this option - I only ever use it for the mad scientist outfit.  My doting permaplat grandfather in one hood plays with his grandchildren using his metal hand.

As of FT, career outfits are no longer added to family wardrobe, a throwback to the base game days. They were unlocked in CAS/buy catalog in unpatched game, but FT patch hid them from CAS as well. So unless you're creating fresh Sims in CAS or using FFS clothing tool/clothing unlockers, they are now inaccessible.

Some may prefer the way it used to be. I made a simple mod with a BHAV yoinked from BV object.package, which enables career outfits to be added to family wardrobe again like all pre-FT EPs since Uni.
