Neighborhood Selection Screen Lag

I recently installed Bon Voyage, and ever since, my neighborhood selector screen lags/stutters.  Sometimes other loading screens, such as loading a neighborhood or lot, will lag as well.  I don't really have much lag during game play, just during the loading screens.

I have all the expansions through BV (no FT) and no stuff packs.  Only BV compatible hacks from Pescado, Twojeffs, and Inge.  I'm also using Fairlight's no-cd crack, so no securom.

Have you patched? That took care of a lot of peoples lag. My lag was taken care of by firewalling the hell out of BV and denying it all access to the interwebs. Make sure that it is firewalled and that auto patch is off. That took care of my neighborhood pause\lag ...well until I put like 7 gigs of custom back into my game.

Turning autopatch off seems to have fixed it.. thanks!
