The maid came along - did I screw up?

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

After lurking here for a while, I realised I had done a few very bad things to my neighbourhood, so I decided to clone my favourite sims and move them to a new one. I also packaged up a house I was particularly fond of - but I obviously evicted the family that lived there first. After a few hours of noting down interests, personalities and skills and recreating the families, I moved a few sims into the previously mentioned lot. However, to my surprise, the maid was there. I forgot to check if the lot was completely empty before I moved it into the lot bin. I deleted the maid with moveObjects before any of my sims even came close to him, but I'm almost sure that didn't fix any possible problems.

So, should I start all over again, should I delete the maid from my game completely or can I just let it slide? Thanks for the help in advance, and my sincerest apologies for not being awesome at all.

Itīs very possible that you screw up all hood.
Deleting sims  in game deletes nothing.
Check the hood with SIMPE searching for duplicated chars.
IF you find duplicates restore an old backup or check the deleteme2 thread.
Is possible that you had added hitchhikers at your hood with the lot.

No, you probably didn't screw up your hood. And putting it into the lot bin, empty, should have cleaned out the characters.

Contrary to what some people think, not everything like that makes your hood go asplode.  Tongue If you can hire a maid and can send everyone home, you're probably okay.

I did check with SimPE, and I didn't see any duplicates... I haven't really played the hood though. I might play some more today and check again.

You're probably fine. I doubt the maid properly hitchhiked, and was only still around because its object instance was still in the save. If you don't have a duplicate clone maid, you should be fine.
