File Extension Question

I was installing a lot and something odd happened between Q-Xpress and Clean Installer. I have several files the size of reasonable package files with the extension "Sim2Tmp". Can/should I just rename them as "package"?

Nope-leave them as they are.

The stuff will show up in game?

Yeah-those are just temporary files. I'm not sure but I *think* they disappear once you have loaded your game up and you have the stuff in-game.

[Fake edit] Just checked and I have a few in my Teleport folder too. I'll check by moving them to my clean install Teleport folder and seeing if any CC/houses show up. If not, I guess they are unneeded files.

[Real edit] Nothing showed up, not in my clean game, nor in Clean Installer. I'm gonna delete mine. If my game blows up I'll come back and let you know.

Your Teleport folder should be empty unless you are in the process of installing a lot into your game.  Any temp files left in there are usually a sign of a borked installation.  You should delete them.
