Problem Purchasing Vacation Lots

I am having trouble purchasing a vacation lot.

When I try to buy one via the phone, an error message pops up saying something about "No parameters." (Error log attached)

When I try to buy via the computer, I get to the menu showing which lots are available to purchase. I select a lot and click the checkmark, and an empty dialog box appears with two choices: Yes and No. At this point, I was thinking it was probably asking for confirmation, but before I chose "yes," the box vanished. (I think it defaulted to "no.") However, there was no error log.

At this point, I saved and exited, then came here to  post. I think there are two separate, but related, problems. I'm going to try a binary search, although I think the phone issue may be related to the phonehack. Or to the fact that this is an empty neighborhood, and I'm allowing the game to create NPCs as I go -- I think this may be related to the problem because the error report mentioned "employee creation" or something like that.

You should update to the latest version of everything: It looks like you're running a pre-BV missiong manager fix.

That prevented the phone error. I got to the menu (same as with computer). I still got an empty dialog box. when I clicked yes, the transaction went through, and I got an empty Info box (presumably saying Congratulations, or something).

I can live with empty dialog boxes, though.

Do you have Marhis's Marriage: Last Name Chooser hack? This hack overrides some BV dialog strings (real estate.../buy vacation home), causing an empty box when purchasing Vacation lots via phone. BV version is available here.

Maybe next time I download a hack from MTS2, I'll read the thread, the way I do here.
