These are completely empty templates.

Once you install them, any time you add one of these sub-neighborhoods to one of your neighborhoods, no new characters will be added. Very useful if you hate townies, or want to control the number of characters that get dumped into your neighborhoods.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Open C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Nightlife\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate\

Make a complete backup of the D001 folder. Put in a safe place.

Open the D001 folder. Open the Characters folder and delete everything inside it. Locate the file D001_Neighborhood.package and delete it.

Unzip the file you downloaded from me and locate the file D001_Neighborhood.package. Place this file into the D001 folder.

2. Open C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 University\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate\

Make a complete backup of the U001, U002, and U003 folders. Put in a safe place.

Open the U001 folder. Open the Characters folder and delete everything inside it. Locate the file U001_Neighborhood.package and delete it. Do the same for U002 and U003.

Unzip the file you downloaded from me and locate the file U001_Neighborhood.package. Place this file into the U001 folder. Locate the U002_Neighborhood.package. Place this file into the U002 folder. U003_Neighborhood.package. Place this file into the U003 folder.

3. Open C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Open For Business\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate\

Make a complete backup of the B001 folder. Put in a safe place.

Open the B001 folder. Open the Characters folder and delete everything inside it. Locate the file B001_Neighborhood.package and delete it.

Unzip the file you downloaded from me and locate the file B001_Neighborhood.package. Place this file into the B001 folder.

WARNING

You may need to replace the backups when installing Maxis patches or new expansion packs. That is why making a backup is so important. After installing the patch/EP, you can install the empty templates again.
